About GovBabu
GovBabu is an independent website that helps people applying for government jobs in India find an exam, check its details and eligibility, and prepare their application documents.
What you can do here
- Browse exams and read each exam's vacancies, pay, eligibility, fees, important dates and how to apply, with a link to the official notification where there is one.
- Check your eligibility by entering your age and qualification (and, if you wish, experience, category and state) to see which exams look like a match.
- Follow dates and outcomes on the exam calendar, admit card, results, answer key, cutoff and notifications pages, for the exams GovBabu tracks.
- Find what to study in the syllabus and study resources sections.
- Prepare documents with the document tools: reduce a photo or signature to a required file size, convert between images and PDF, and compress, merge, split, rotate, sign, watermark or unlock PDFs.
Where the information comes from
Exam details are compiled from the official notification published by the conducting body, and each exam page links to it where one is available. When something cannot be confirmed, or sources disagree, the page says so instead of guessing.
Recruitment details change often. Dates, vacancies and rules can be revised after GovBabu last checked them, so always confirm on the official notification before you apply.
Is GovBabu a government website?
No. GovBabu is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated for UPSC, SSC, IBPS, the Railway Recruitment Boards, any state commission or any other government body. The official notification and the official application portal are always the final reference, and applications are submitted there, not here.
What to keep in mind
- GovBabu does not cover every exam. The exam list shows what is included. If one is missing, tell us.
- The eligibility check is an automatic, best-effort match on the age and qualification information GovBabu holds for each exam. It is not a decision on whether you may apply.
- The document tools change file size and format. They cannot guarantee that a particular portal will accept the result, so check that portal's own requirements. The PDF tools rebuild each page as an image, so text in the result cannot be selected.
Account, cost and privacy
You do not need an account to use GovBabu, and nothing on the site currently costs money. Photos, signatures and PDFs are processed in your browser. The privacy page explains this, and what the site stores, in more detail.
