PDF to JPG

Save the first page of a PDF as a JPG image, for application forms that accept images but not PDFs.

🔒 Files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to GovBabu servers.

How to use

  1. Click the upload box and choose a PDF.
  2. The first page is converted straight away.
  3. Download the JPG.

What to expect

  • Each file can be up to 15 MB.
  • Only page 1 is converted. If the PDF has more pages, the result says so. To keep a different page, use Split PDF to extract it first.
  • The page is rendered at twice its normal size and saved as a JPG.
  • This tool loads the open-source pdf.js reader from a public CDN the first time it is used; that fetches the reader code, not your file.

Common questions

Does it convert every page?

No, only the first page. To convert another page, extract it into its own PDF with Split PDF and then convert that PDF.

Can it convert a password-protected PDF?

Not directly. Remove the password first with Unlock PDF, using the password you already know.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Your file is read and converted by your browser; only the pdf.js reader code is downloaded.
