FAQs

Does IBPS Clerk have an interview stage?

No — unlike IBPS PO, selection for IBPS Clerk is based on the Prelims + Mains written exams only, with no personal interview; final merit is based solely on Mains marks.

Are Prelims marks added to the Mains score for the final result?

No, Prelims marks are used only to shortlist candidates for Mains; the final provisional allotment is based entirely on Mains marks.

Is there a separate Computer Knowledge section in Mains?

No standalone Computer Knowledge paper — computer-based questions are merged into the "Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude" section.

What is the sectional time limit rule in the Clerk exam?

Each section in both Prelims and Mains has its own fixed timer; you cannot use extra time saved in one section for another.
