QualificationCRP SPL-XVI post-wise essential educational qualifications (as on 21 July 2026): IT Officer (Scale I) — four-year engineering/technology degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics &Telecommunications, Electronics &Communication, or Electronics &Instrumentation;OR a postgraduate degree in the specified Electronics/Telecommunication/Communication/Instrumentation/Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Applications fields;OR graduation plus DOEACC B level.Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I) — four-year degree in a listed agriculture/allied discipline, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Dairy/Fishery Science, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing &Cooperation, Cooperation &Banking, Agro-Forestry/Forestry, Agricultural Biotechnology/B.Tech Biotechnology, Food Science/Technology, Agribusiness Management, Dairy Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Sericulture, or Fisheries Engineering.Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I) — postgraduate degree in Hindi with English at degree level, OR postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi at degree level.Law Officer (Scale I) — bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) and enrolment as an advocate with the Bar Council.HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I) — graduation plus a two-year full-time postgraduate degree or diploma in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, HR/HRD, Social Work, or Labour Law.Marketing Officer (Scale I) — graduation plus a two-year full-time MMS/MBA/PGDBA/PGDBM/PGPM/PGDM with Marketing specialization.For posts other than IT Officer Scale I, the notice additionally specifies computer-operations/language certification, diploma or degree, or computer/IT study as a subject at school/college/institute.The final result for the qualifying education must have been declared on or before 21 July 2026.Eligibility is post-specific; candidates must satisfy the exact route for the one post applied for.

Age RelaxationAge 20–30 as on 1 July 2026 (date-of-birth window 2 July 1996–1 July 2006).Upper-age relaxations in the IBPS notice: SC/ST 5 years;OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years;PwBD 10 years; eligible Ex-Servicemen/Commissioned Officers/ECO/SSCO with at least five years’ military service and qualifying release 5 years, subject to the notice and Government rules.Relaxations are subject to documentation and conditions.
